On the Extraordinary High Productivity in Elaphe radiata

Abstract


A unique example of extraordinary high productivity in Copper-headed racer Elaphe radiata is described — during a year were received 9 clutches of eggs out of which 100 snakes have hatched. There is also data on early maturation of this species (at the age of 10 months).
