Preliminary Study of Lipid Fatty Acid Composition in the Chinese Alligator (Alligator sinensis)

Abstract


This paper reports Chinese alligator (Alligator sinensis) fatty acid composition of total lipids extracted from the body fat, adipose tissue between the muscles, red muscles and white muscles. There were more than twenty fatty acids in all total lipids. Unsaturated fatty acids were particularly predominant.
